- To create, communicate and implement effective procurement policies, for partners (e.g., builders) and vendors (e.g., for building materials, equipment).

- To coordinate with other Units (e.g., Corporate Development, Construction, Design & Planning) on tender / hiring process for required goods and services.
|
 |
- To monitor legal compliance to any authorities or regulations in administration of contracts.
|
 |
- To conduct audits of procurement activities within the organization to ensure honest, fair and ethical relationships with suppliers.
|
The Requirements
|
 |
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other tertiary qualifications.
|
 |
- Minimum 8 years working experience in preferably 5 years in procurement or project management for an established corporation.
|
 |
- Extensive experience and knowledge in procurement management, supplier negotiations and contract management.
|
 |
- Experience in estimating and handling of tender proposals in construction industry.
|
 |
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and is very result-oriented.
|
 |
- Meticulous, good analytical skills and effective multi-tasking abilities.
|
 |
- Mature, self-motivated, independent with strong sense of responsibility and initiative and work effectively in a team.
|
 |
- Excellent communication, relationship and interpersonal skills.
|
 |
- Proven achievement in prior employment.
|
 |
- Flexible, adaptable and resilience to work in a fast-paced, challenging and performance driven environment.

 |
- Excellent command of spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English
