  • To implement the Company’s Social Media Strategy in conjunction with the Head of Department.
  • To develop brand awareness and formulate ways of generating discussions of the brand in the Social Media space.
  • To generate inbound traffic to the Company’s social media properties.
  • To coordinate the Social Media Strategy and ensure its effectiveness.
  • To work with the development team to ensure social media tools are kept up to date while proposing latest tools and platforms that will encourage further discussions.
  • To manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
  • To manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed.
  • To monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

To monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications.

 

 

The Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Business/Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in digital interactive marketing or social media.
  • Constantly updated with Well-versed in social media listening platforms.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Young, dynamic with good disposition.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good report writing skills and project management skills.
  • Sound planning and time management skills.
  • Sound organizational, execution, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Good relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Work well independently and effectively in a team.
  • Highly motivated and result oriented.
  • Have a positive attitude with a high degree of initiative and drive.
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia & English, both verbal & written.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
